How long is the downtime?
There is no downtime with PicoSure Focus™ facials. Patients may experience erythema that typically resolves within a few hours, but in some cases, may linger up to 24 hours. Since each patient is unique, we highly recommend following the outlined clinical guidelines to help optimize safety and efficacy before treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on your individual case and the laser used, some people are satisfied after only one treatment session. Others may need additional sessions.
What does it treat?
PicoSure laser addresses skin concerns like freckles, sun spots, discoloration, and unwanted tattoo ink. The laser improves skin texture such as scarring and wrinkles.
The laser converts laser energy into gentle pressure waves to activate cell signaling to create new collagen and start the body’s natural immune response.
Is it right for me?

How do I prep for treatment?
It is important to protect the area from the sun before and after treatment. It is also recommended to stop taking vitamin E, aspirin, and other medications/supplements that can hinder healing. Patients using retinoid or glycolic acid must stop 2-4 weeks prior to treatment. If you are prone to developing cold sores it is recommended to take medication to prevent cold sores.
What to expect after treatment？
Mild redness is expected up to a few hours. There is no downtime after treatment and patients may return to normal activities.
